FAIRCORE4EOSC

The FAIRCORE4EOSC project focuses on the development and realisation of core components for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). Supporting a FAIR EOSC and addressing gaps identified in the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA). Leveraging existing technologies and services, the project will develop nine new EOSC-Core components aimed to improve the discoverability and interoperability of an increased amount of research outputs.

eRA partner GWDG is the second largest partner in FAIRCORE4EOSC and in particular responsible for the work package developing the EOSC PID Meta Resolver and the related PID Kernel Information Profiles. The work will be conducted in close synchronisation with eRA’s efforts on GRO.identifiers and the working group on Persistent Identifier Services in the NFDI. We are locking forward to the project kick-off end of June in Amsterdam and first results coming up afterwards.
